Joe, I don't have any but I sure walked on a lot of them.
I think those were Zuver plates that he used to cover part of the floor in his gym.
I trained there a few times and even recall meeting "Rhino" when he ran around the gym in his pajamas.
Those were the great day of bodybuilding and I do regret that I didn't take more photos in that era.
I do recall that there was a night club in the Costa Mesa area not too far from Zuver's called "L'il Abner's" which was sort of a Dogpatch for the So Cal lifters. Some of the cocktail waitresses actually looked like Daisy Mae and one or two like Mammie Yokum.
Anyone old enough to recall them places?

Laree Draper tipped me to a gym that may have some. The gym does have the big statues and I have emailed the owned about the plates.

He wasan older man who opened a gym in his garage in our neighborhood. EVERY kid trained at Doc's when young. He wuld have training books for them and write your workout for you for th next day. He was shot putter and almost went to the Olympics. He died recently and his daughter and me have been emailing. I found out he was a trainer at the old Vic Tanny's Gym on Ventura way back when it first opened. SO I thought maybe you knew who he was.

This post was a very long time ago.
Since then there are a few collectors out there who have snapped up every Zuver plate that has come up for sale. Lets ask that question agin now days and see if we get any answers. I know most of the guys that have bought them. Would like to know more.
