According to "sexperts", Tasers are used in S & M sessions. It was made popular for prisoner-control in Vietnam, and was introduced to American S & M by these same former prisoners of war. (Mind you, over 25% of the prison population in America are Vietnam-era vets. Many men in prison have been deeply traumatized by war.) Should the jury determine that James had been engaging in consensual sex at the time of her death, regardless of how rough that sex might have been, chances are her death could be ruled "accidental". Recently, in California, a dominitrix "accidentally" killed her client when he didn't know when to stop with "the choking". The court ruled the death accidental.

The law can be very interesting. Almost as much as sex.

The dominatrix DIDN'T tape the guy's mouth shut, put him in a car trunk, & burn the body. She was also doing a job he was paying her to do. Melissa wasn't. There are big differences here. Not to mention, Nevada ain't California.

and sending money to their defense fund. Apparently,
the couple cannot afford one. Alas, they're not the Ramsey's

Nor is Muscle & Fitness coming to their rescue. National Enquirer
certainly stands to profit, however. Not surprisingly, BOTH
rags share the same CEO, a man in deep dept as a result of
purchasing Weider's empire. Smart of him to bet on

The one thing that perhaps the autopsy report has determined is whether or not melissa was drugged before or after she was tasered. If after, then perhaps the tasering was part of a sex act. If she was drugged before, then she could not give consent as she was not 100% in her right mind or coherent. Either way, the strangulation with a ligature PLUS the taping of her mouth indicates not death by taser...perhaps she was still alive when the car was set on fire.

I think she was drugged, tasered, mouth taped shut, strangled to death...and then body disposed of

But why would they want to end this young woman's life, and destroy
theirr own? Was Melissa pregnant with Craig's baby, and threatening to
have it? Was she blackmailing C & K by threating to inform a) The
Authorities or b) Their Drug Suppliers? Or did Kelly simply learn
during a cat-fight confrontation with her menage mate that her
charming husband had actually AUTHORIZED Melissa's credit card
purchases. That Mel wasn't stealing from them at all. Not now, not ever.
That it was Craig instead who was betraying her. Thus, by murdering
Melissa, Ms. Fitness was destroying her entire family, and giving the
whole fitness culture a kick in the balls too.

In which case, Craig will at some point want to turn on Kelly. But
only after a plea bargain is struck to minimize her sentence, and
maximize his own publicity. Honestly, Buffalo, prison doesn't look
so bad when you're getting celebrity treatment; detox included.

that taser def played a part whether sexual or for harm. the duct taped on the head could poss play sexual too, bondage s&m stuff. the nets full of that $hit. some swingers like that kink, some sr8ts like it too. otherwise the duct taped face/head can def be sign of hate/anger crime. someone didnt want/couldnt see that girls face. the burning of the body was kinda like a sign to esponge the perp/s of the crime, make it disappear more so than rid the body. the burning in tandem with the taped head show there could be more physco implications r involved in this crime. the fact of the car belongs to the wife, the question, why her car. with the girl in the trunk, it wont look like she stole it. they say that people leave clues behind in hopes of being caught, makes you think. maybe the jag got $hitty gas mileage although they usually tend to leak oil.

People unrealistically expect the Prosecutors to be like Sam Waterston's character in Law & Order and the crime scene to be handled by Gil Grissom or whoever.

Sounds like a good "problem" to me. The more ordinary people know,
the more EXTRAORDINARY the "professionals" will have to be.

But those shows are "shows"...they hype what they want to hype about crimes, techniques etc and leave the actual facts laying in the dust half the time. I don't even bother watching those shows...especially when they have either a cop or a coroner walking up to a body that has been decomposing for 3 days in hot house conditions and standing 5 inces away taking notes.

That damn shit would knock you off your feet...you'd have to have a breathing apparatus on to get that close...ever smelled a hot decomposing body?? It wreaks...

But it's just like in the movies when they show Tommy Lee Jones walking 5 inches away from hot flowing lava from a volcano and he doesn't even get his eyebrows singed...it's all bullshit.
