Review

Horrible horrible horrible
Very disappointing

Cool packaging
Felt kind of hard

The bar is orange and has no pumpkin pie smell to it

Taste: texture in mouth is great-soft and it tastes like it has rice crisps in it
No pumpkin pie taste at all- all is tastes like is weak pumpkin or sweet potatoe- I couldn't even taste any cinnamon

Fail and waste of money

Yep awful...tried them today. Tastes like a sweet n salty like a payday

I don't log my cheat foods, but AFAIK this year I've eaten 1 or 2 protein candy bars and 1 Snickers. The snickers tasted great but those protein candy bars tasted way to sweet.

Got to be careful not to overdose on Quest Bars.  Highly anabolic.

Should get your "blood work" done regularly if you run more than one a week.

Exactly.

I don't have time every morning to poach eggs, slow cook the oatmeal, grill tomato, and other stuff I like to eat every morning.

So it's oats, protein powder, etc in a blender.

That said, thinking Quest Pumpkin bars would be good was a retarded premise from the start.

Have you ever tried a pumpkin spice cliff bar or anything like that?  They're never good.

they're super easy to make yourself, if you meal prep on Sunday it's just

a dash of pumpkin spice blend
2tbs: 1 scoop ratio of vitafiber or fiberyum to protein powder
and some of that libby's pumpkin puree\pumpkin pie puree(depending on your calories)

make a large batch, mold them in a silicon chocolate bar tray

Weak excuse, throw some oats & whey with water in a shaker and you have your basic macros in a minute.

This is tired already.  Sometimes even that isn't convenient, especially depending on the person's work.  Bar is easy.

C'mon, how hard is it to add water, shake it and drink it right away? I know, some folks feel uncomfortable when others see them drinking a shake, like they're health freaks, but who cares what they think?

Or I can buy 2 bars for about the same cost(possibly less), have varying flavors and not have to choke down clumpy quick oats

I get one pound of oats here for 40 cents and 1 kg of flavored whey for 13 euro/dollar. The natural whey that I buy is even more cheap. So a bar is more expensive and I get all kinds of unwanted fillers.
You want ultra fine oats? Then simply throw it in a coffee grinder.

When you're in an all day or 1/2 day session at work, it's very hard.  And unnecessary.

Does any other company do that pumpkin pie flavour protein aside from that fucking knob Lobliner's? It will be a cold day in hell before i give him a penny of my money, but i really want to try it now.
its actually really good
Literally tastes like liquid pumpkin pie
His cookies n creme and mint cookie are amazing too

I don't get it why it's so hard, but I don't know your specific situation. When I have multiple short breaks, I put the oats & whey servings in multiple beakers with a lid and have one shaker.
Unnecessary? Well, that just depends on how nutrition critical you are.

When you're in a corporate setting and lunch is catered for you, but you want to eat something else, or at a different time.

When you're at a seminar for a whole day.

When you've been on the road for work for a week.

Tons of reasons.

Regardless, any time supplements are discussed, someone chimes in with the "why not eat real food" comment.  We get it.

That's what I love about intermittent fasting - it makes eating at work really easy
