How often do you fellas drink??

I don't like drinking very often as it doesn't have any positive effect on bodybuilding...and I get way too angry when I drink...but yet - I find myself drinking on a lot of occasions...just curious to see what everyone else around here does?

Quite often lately, usually just a few vodkas to chill out or socially. But I've had a few excessive nights recently.

Hardly ever. Most, if not all alcohol tastes like shit.

I believe most men drink, despite not liking the taste, because it makes them feel like "real" men.  :-\ :-\

How many people can honestly say they like the taste of beer? Most of it taste like shit. Most men drink because its what is expected of them socially, i.e., have a few beers with the guys while watching football.  ::) ::)

If it alters you in a positive way mentally you start to like the taste because you start to associate the taste with the kick. Just like you may start to "like" other foul tasting/smelling drugs.

During a night out with mates which would be around once a month. And when I drink, I go all out and get lashed. Totally teetotal outside of that though. :D

I like a pint with a Saturday night curry or a Sunday lunch - that's the only time I drink really. But it's only ever one pint and once I've got the taste for it I never have a second. I don't understand these guys that can drink five or six pints in an evening - don't see the point of it.

I do like a nice single malt whisky every now and again too when the mood takes me. Straight - no water, ice, or mixers. That stuff puts hairs on your chest 8)

The taste of alcohol isn't particularly good and you aren't drinking enough to feel any effects why even do it at all? When I drink it's usually hard liquor and I drink a lot of it...this is more
Often than I'd like but still isn't a lot..maybe 2 times a month

Well, this goes with any taste or smell. We make associated with tastes and smells, and each has a distinct psychological affect on us, which is either going to make the taste/smell aversive or favorable.
