I wear baggy clothes to the gym because I'm 40, happily married since '99, I'm a Dad, I have "been there, done that" in the gym and no longer care what others think about me while I'm in the gym.  I used to live to impress both the invisible audience, the gym rats and the occassional gym hottie......not anymore.  Can't be 25, obsessed and delusional forever LOL!

I'm old enough to be father to a lot of the young girls most of you ogle in gym so I know they aren't checking me out.  Sure, an occassional look or smile here and there, but so what?  In terms of the gym, I'm a fossil now but it's actually rather liberating.   I'm still way stronger than 99% of gym rats, have never juiced, have solid natural size, working to shed some pounds of fat, have no delusions of a competition physique and generally don't care how I'm perceived.

Like I said, it's liberating not caring anymore.   8)

Now, of course many GBrs will be on the defensive and say, "not me bro, I'm older than you and still pulling quality tail and in fantastic shape!  you're the delusional one."  LOL, great.  ::)

This post sounds familiar  ;D

Shorts, T shirts, sweats LOL! Sometimes the occasional tank top but as he says "I have other things to do now rather than looking for attention at the gym! Been there done that. Got to get in and out because I have other things to do"

Plus now it's the older women that are on the prowl. Sometimes the younger ones look but those older ladies are something else. It isn't like you can't see a well built body through t shirts and sweats because you can.

I see a lot of big guys wear sweatshirts to the gym when it's summertime. Or they will wear shirts that are so baggy that they cover their entire upper arm and only show their forearms and look like pillow cases. What is the point of purposely hiding your body when you spend so much time on it?

gayer than being annoyed by dudes because they dress like dudes.

so you want men to dress like women?

If a guy is built you can see it through almost any clothing.  This idea that you have to be peeled, adorned in string tanks and daisy dukes and look worldclass year round is a GB fantasy LOL.

Hundreds of thousands of folks flow in out and out gyms everyday of the year and out of that population you may have 5 guys per gym that have "worldclass physiques".  According to GB either you have that "worldclass physique" year round or you should face a firing squad because your body is a dumpster fire, gorgeous women vomit every time they see you and your life is essentially worthless.

To that crap I say "meh."

seriously, what.. the... FUCK!

You kno the feeling when you're about to get the hangover of death, that you know you're going to start puking foor 8 hours by the slightest head movement? Well that's the feeling I'm getting when I look at the picture above. Horrible male fashion.

Men don't dress in pants that emphasize their ass or legs, it's just ludicrous. Shirts I can understand, but only with baggy pants. Squat legs or no squat legs, showing off your ass & thighs is for women.

I grew up in an old school gym and everyone dressed to workout not for fashion. Baggy clothes frankly are just easier to move in and when I am in the gym I am there to lift heavy shit..end of story. Some people are trying to be "Mr. 24hr Fitness" but those who are serious about bodybuilding let their physique on stage speak for itself.

TO be honest I do this...Most of you are very small so you wouldnt understand but when you go to a mega gym with hundred people in there and everyone is looking at you it gets annoying. I dont just lift for myself I lift cause I want girls attention obviously but Its fucking annoying when every bro dude you walk by gives you a stare.

I feel its hella lame when I see dudes in strrings who are on their first cycles of tren. It screams LOOOK AT ME GUYZ I GOT VEINS!!!

bigger shirt, ball cap low, head phones in. 0 distractions, im here to lift. Sorry if that bothers someone. My street clothes are normal and tighter which is how it should be....

Completely agree. I've said from the beginning that a well built body looks better in real clothes than gym clothes. The way the shoulders and back look in sweaters and dress shirts is  :o. In fact there are a lot more looks and stares then over the sleeveless stuff

I think if you've lived that life or have been around that life it really isn't all it's cracked up to be. There is way more to life than daisy Dukes and g String tank tops which I have always hated

its kind of better to have a singlet on when training shoulders or back or something in my opinion

how is it better lol? For your ego? Am i gona forget where my body parts are?

I personally hate the gym cuttofff t's and singlet culture. I go to the gym and its bloofy arms abound. Its actually kinda pathetic how everyone is trying to show off what they got and 90% of is all fat lol.

Ill stay covered up and looking bigger than 99% people at my gym. Actually find girls are rather turned off by the try hard guys.

Gotta be honest, this would actually be a good look if it weren't for the boots and scarf.

Men don't dress in pants that emphasize their ass or legs, it's just ludicrous. Shirts I can understand, but only with baggy pants. Squat legs or no squat legs, showing off your ass & thighs is for women.

I usually buy slim fitting jeans to show of my glutes. :P
I don't go skinny though. That's just too emo.

funny cause most bigger dudes tend to have the same mind set. Its all the tren/testprop/mast/anavar type guys or the bloofy dudes who wear tanks and singlets. Most guys wearing singlets couldnt bench 2 plates if they tried.

The gym is a social show for most peps. I just go in 40min-1hour and hit it hard and leave. SORRY BROS

I used to prefer baggy jeans and pants. But once I started wearing the tighter stuff and got groped by chicks in the clubs, I knew there was no going back. ;D

He looks great, this could easily be my autumn evening attire. Big scarfs are in.

Are you guys really going to say his actually quite traditional outfit is gay but dressing in xxxl shirts to appear "big" solely for other men is hetero and manly ??? Lol
