I'm almost 50 so I am into the 1980s hair band shit - Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Judas Priest, etc. Can't get enough of it.

I wouldn't put Maiden and Priest in the "hair metal" category.

If we're talking hair metal, Dokken and Ratt had much better songs that Crue and Poison, who got more attention.

Decapitated is one of my fave DM bands. Vitek's death rattled me. And Covan is still furked, from what I understand. I hung with the boys in Toronto about 10 years ago, before the accident. Totally awesome dudes. Gave me free t-shirts.

Vogg continues the legacy. But the Vogg, Vitek, Martin, Sauron lineup will always be legend in DM circles.
