So, normally I drink good beer, but for whatever reason had a 12 pack of Bud Light in the fridge. I've had 7 of them since 4:30 and don't have any buzz whatsoever. It's like water. Who drinks this trash?

Real ale is huge in the UK now... I love the stuff, few pints on a weekend is just the ticket, our local has its own micro brewery.

I like it. I will offer no excuses, but I will offer an explanation. I lived in FL for a few years (06-09) and while I was down there I learned to like it because it was the only constantly available beer. In any bar, in any house, if you requested a bud light, you got it. A tad geeky, but bud light is the vi of beers: not great, but always there and gets the job done.

And frankly, the latest faddish crop of 5x hops IPAs taste like total shit. Bitter as drinking a glass of pencil shavings. I like fine German Pilsner beers the best. My time in Berlin was beer heaven: each bar with a great house Pilsner. Berliner was my favorite.

There ya go. In be4 No homo, YLLS, HTH, twink, do you even lift, blah blah blah

No. I may have to go to Budapest in the near to medium term for work, but otherwise no plans to leave the US.
