Yeah,I can deal with the taste, but my problem was just eating too damn many of them along with other meals thrown in.

"Digestive overload" is what Vince Gironda called it and it was a fitting description.  :D
^^
Just REMEMBER to take your digestive enzyme tabs along with the eggs, you need the HCL to start digesting them ASAP!!!

Insulin Resistance is an excellent example of the cluelessness of the medical establishment.

The reason for the resistance is the cells protecting themselves from damage. It's actually a sign that the body is functioning properly.

The action that is causing the reaction called Insulin Resistance is overconsumption of carbohydrates.

another shitty thing about bulking/adding fat is that your body produces more fat cells which never go away, they only shrink in the future based on body fat levels, but once you make em, they're there for life. dunno what this means as far as actually affecting how you look, but its interesting nonetheless.

I know when you're in a perma bulker state it feels really good walking around in a tight tee shirt but in truth nothing looks better than being lean.

interesting how high carb low fat diets can dramatically improve insulin sensitivity?

http://rawfoodsos.com/2015/10/06/in-defense-of-low-fat-a-call-for-some-evolution-of-thought-part-1/

also how is it that ive been awake for 30+ hours now, blood glucose at 59 (lowest ive ever seen it), yet i feel great and full of energy, almost manic ???

can anyone offer insight into this phenomenon?  always seems to happen when i skip a night of sleep... crazy energy and laser focus.  cortisol overload?  similar feeling to caffeine.

I think that under circumstances, natural brain chemicals that have a weak amphetamine-like effect get released

Strange because Keto advocates say that initially you get listless and foggy but once in full ketosis that they had full energy and felt amazing.  I tried keto once.  Zero carbs for over 2 weeks, got those keto sticks that you pee on and if they turn color it means there's ketones present in your piss.  I pissed on a dozen sticks and none of them changed color.  I said fuck it and went back to eating carbs.

im the latter, after my 3 day fog passes i feel like a million bucks. but I dont handle carbs well, I "bulk" on about 150-200grams at 220lbs.

As you get older skin never bounces back as tight.  Last summer I was leaner than I've been in years but had skin ripples on my lower abs.  Was so fucking annoying.  Tried all sorts of skin tightening creams but nothing worked.  Think the only way is to have plastic surgery to tighten the skin again.

Wait until you're in your 70's. Plastic surgeons do tummy tucks on women....not sure how it's done for men.

How about a private posing session so you can point out my weak points?

Bulking is great if you're sick bone skinny.  I was 25 years old, 5 10, and 125 pounds.

It took 18 months of compounds lifts, Taco Bell, Wendy's, oatmeal, and protein shakes + Golden Corral.

I went up to 220 pounds and yeah, maybe half was fat, but I was a lean 180 once I added cardio and eca

In some cases, sickly ectomorphs who play basketball all day, bulking can help.  I'm still under 140 today (like rest of family) without bulking

You were 10 pounds lighter than I was when I started.

Bulking isn't just great; it's a necessity if you were being my like us. But let's clarify something. Bulking simply means eating more than you burn. It isn't necessarily a license to eat everything in site.

I tried the fast food route. That was ineffective and too expensive. I stopped that and bought my own ground beef, whole eggs, and milk. You're right on the money about the crew activities. I played softball with my church league, pinch running for the old guys with bad knees (on my team and others).

That definitely puts a cramp on your ability to put on size, unless you're ingesting calorie-dense foods.

I have to think the dumbest was drinking a glass of Alka Seltzer before a workout.  I think it was Bill Phillips that wrote about ingesting sodium bicarbonate before a workout would reduce lactic acid build upin the muscle.  Initially I was drinking Baking Soda mixed with water and some lemon juice and it was awful.  My gut would be so bloated and I would just burp all workout then I read in Flex or some other mag about taking an Alka Seltzer.  It sucked being so naïve about growing muscle and trying all of this shit.

You know, I've been taking bicarbonate every now and then for a couple of decades, I really feel it helps endurance a little bit. There are so many factors that influence performance so it's hard to say for sure, but I suspect it helps me get a rep more here and there. :D

It does have scientific backing but more for endurance sports, which I don't do.
Theoretically, actually there's some research supporting this, stacking with beta-alanine might be even more effective.

I've tried fst7 and think it works somewhat. Maybe not exactly stretching the fascia as claimed but I noticed difference in the feel of the chest in 1 workout. Triceps too a little.
