Maybe Gowdy is secretly the real plant.  And his plan all along was to give Clinton 11 hours of free campaign advertising so the audience could "get to know her" and see how the next POTUS conducts herself.

Really, that is the only logical explanation I can think of.   That CT has got to be better than just admitting the reality of their childish attempt backfired on them and worked to her advantage.

He had a guilty-as-shit-hilary chained to a desk for 10 hours, forced to answer everything he wanted.  And he got nada.
