DLB and Rob Bailey Purchased World Gym - Will be turned in Warhouse Gym

They got thrown out last month from there and Gold's and ended up buying the World's Gym.  They are ditching the name and turning it into a Warhouse Gym.

Because social media gives the illusion of credibility for popularity. Being incredibly popular for 6 months can be better than toiling away in obscurity for 20 years...even if the person not on social media is the real deal.

People today truly are "followers".

That all being said -  I don't blame these two for figuring out that 10.000 duck faces and obnoxious poses make money. It's just being an opportunist and no different than what Weider did selling the same training book over and over, fart powders and soft gay porn mags.

I'll echo the chorus of "good for them". From the gym goers side, I bet they'll make nice owners. I doubt they'll care much about grunts, and groans, and chalk, etc.... that many gyms are annoying about now-a-days.

this is true gym is in reading, i know a guy who used to train there... bailey's used to train there too. ::) ::) ::)there is now 2 warhouse gyms 1 private and one for the public..

People always have been, and always will be, followers. It is just that in the past you needed substance over advertising. Now that has gotten skewed to where advertising yourself is the number one skill. So people are still following 'the best'. Just not the best lifter/racer/singer/painter/writer/... but the best story tellers.
