Fight Club author - Chuck Palahniuk.
A great author with a different style of writing. I read the book after seeing the movie and I do recall that it had somewhat of a twist to the story.
Not certain about this but didn't the Brad Pitt character only exist within the imagination of the Ed Norton character?
I can't recall the term used when a character within a story is thought to be real but ain't ... such as the Pitt character in Fight Club .... nor when a character within a screenplay turns out to be something or someone that you the audience did not expect ... such as Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense .... but it is one hell of a way to tell a great story.
Anyone know of any screenplay presented in a similar style?
Both were major box office hits when they were released.
The best similar type motion picture I've ever seen was a foreign film that was completely confusing for the first 60 minutes and eventually becomes completely understandable during the final ten.
It is the story of an insane inmate as seen through the inmate's eyes until the inmate is cured .... then the movie becomes understandable.
A much better movie than the way I explained it.
I have yet to read CHOAK though.
