Lawsuit - Lee Thompson files against Manion and the NPC

It's legally Lee's show the NPC is just a sanctioning body. Lee may also own the name just like Wayne owned the name Night of Champions. No doubt they will not sanction another show by Lee nor will Lee be asking.

He's promoting another NPC show in Texas next month and that was the third and final one he was scheduled to promote when he left. They are not shows for his new league, but rather regular NPC shows. It is insane that Manion allowed him to continue with these three shows once he bolted. It wasn't as if he resigned effective 1/1/16; he left immediately in September and has been critical of them since then.

He has nothing to lose and everything to gain by running these shows and the NPC the opposite.

I don't see why they're so scared. He was a high up in the iFBB so if there was shady mess going down then he was a part of it too. The only way I see people defecting to Lee is if the prize money is exponentially more and if people start to get real mainstream opportunities. Both are unlikely.

The prize money this year at the Olympia was  unfair. The only person who got a raise was Mr.Olympia and that wasn't  a physique that was worthy of a 100K raise. They could have given more money to the 212, figure, and wpd.

They want a classic look and nobody even comes close in 212 or regular division. I don't trust Lee but I hope this has a big effect on the IFBB. It's about time judges are accountable for their judging.

That's what I think and those people don't care about the IFBB or anything. They just want to be onstage and told they are Pro-bikini athletes. I sure hope a lot of people go over to that so we don't have to suffer through bikini and men's physique shows in the future

I can tell you that the crowd at the Olympia was there to see the women's physique when men's physique came on we all got up and left. The people were there to see women's physique and 212. Both those divisions should be on the main stage.

Even the women in the group who knew nothing about bodybuilding weren't interested in men's physique. They look fine but it's boring to watch and everyone looked the same. I can't get over not showing legs.

Why are they so afraid? Lee doesn't have any big name bodybuilding type people. I think his league will be mostly men's physique and bikini which would mean less of those people in the NPC/IFBB which to me is a good thing.

Lee is having a show on Dec 12 and that same day the NPC are having a show in Texas where they are flying out all the big guns I guess to take away from Lee's thing. It makes no sense to me because it doesn't look like Lee's thing is going to blow anybody out of the water. They are probably scared of what he will say
