I think the moderators at MD are very unprofessional. They are Acting no better than Lee Thompson with immature responses.

David Baye and SR are really trolling the guy.  What's immature? :D

This is pathetic. What are they 12 years old?  They cannot talk about Lee and his mud slinging when they are right on the bandwagon with him. I expect nothing less than this type of behavior from some people...but they aren't helping the rep of the IFBB!

Good shit Joe!!!  Id post it at MD, but those fuckers are super sensitive about keeping their NPC/IFBB coverage so anything negative said they take personally
Thanks, BMC. Those jerk offs over at my former place of employment have microscopic balls & their two 'fearful' leaders (Blechy & the school marm) are clueless when it comes to proper media marketing and what the fans want to discuss. Their powder puff one-way coverage sucking every dick in the hierarchy of the IFBB/NPC is sickening.

The funny thing is that to mention that a lawsuit was filed isn't any knock on the leagues; it's merely a fact. That would allow their suck boys to come on in and write how Thompson will never get a dime. Their so retarded that they can't even see that.

I did it the proper way - I spoke to both sides and posted the new article about the NPC shows that Thompson was still promoting and why. And I confirmed via the IFBB/NPC source (who requested to remain anonymous) that Thompson resigned and was not fired like Bob Cicherillo keeps posting.

I have been saying for years now that big Bob Chick is part of the problem in the pro league. He keeps the people in line like an enforcer. Those who speak out like Milos or Lee Priest get the shaft for good.

Stooges and patsies fill the positions in that organization. Magazines kiss butt to keep press passes. The dopey bodybuilders yearn for a pro card. All tricks to make people perform like trained dogs.

That's the funny thing about all of this.  LT was fine while working for the NPC/IFBB but now's a villain and accusations are flying.  If Weinberger left what would be said about him?  Similar scathing reviews I suspect.

I will say I was surprised to learn that the NPC is a not for profit organization.

They claim he www corrupt and was about to get fired. I don't believe that at all. Nobody has addressed his allegations. They also are running around scared and making videos and flying the big wigs in for the Texas show.

They may want to check themselves because I think Lee has some dirt on quite a few of those folks and I know they're hoping that he doesn't sing.

I'm having a little fun right now with Bob on Instagram. Since I'm banned for life on MD, I can't refute his inaccurate statements over there, but he is doing more of it on IG. So game on.

You're one hundred percent correct about magazines and press passes. As a matter of fact, WisconsinBB (fan boy extraordinaire and one of the faces of MD) was nice enough to come right out and say it straight out - they will never talk bad about the IFBB/NPC because they need contest access to conduct business and if they say anything negative, they won't get the press passes.

I don't give a flying fuck about covering shows for my magazine, so I can be completely honest and do what any real journalist is supposed to do - report it like you see it. Not some one-way skewed review of something because lips need to be attached to penises and assholes.

and i personally thank you for NOT kissing ass and keeping shit 100% real! When you are sucking the NPC/IFBBs dick, you CANT be honest in reporting what was and is going on! Shawn likes to say he is in the "media" now, but the media that i watch is NOT biased! He is biased bc he is an employee of MD

He was not about to get fired, regardless of how many times Bob Chick closes his eyes, clicks his heels together & says it. Thompson caught them off guard & they had no idea he was leaving...and that is directly from the IFBB/NPC reliable source that requested to remain anonymous. This matched Thompson's version to me.

Thompson is looking to prove his allegations in court so I suppose that everything will come out in the wash.

Thx, Mike. And I appreciate your efforts to go KGB over at MD with some 'valuable' info before the shaky fucks delete or lock the thread.

What's funny is that I used to be somewhat like them because I worked for FLEX and then MD, as well as publishing my own magazine that was politically correct, or so to say. So I had to play the same game but fuckin' hated it. And that's kind of why Blechy & I butted heads and got me fired - I went against the grain too much for them.

I always liked Shawn Ray & he brings a professional and polished element to the table (the anti-skull cap fan boy, if you know what I mean), but he has to play the same game the rest of them do. No sense in him trying to pretend he doesn't. The only way to NOT play it is by putting out your own magazine.

Ive had a few threads deleted in the past few weeks its not even funny, but like Shawn says, "I just report the news" I asked about the lawsuit Lee had against the NPC and its NOT going to be covered by MD even though its news and eveyone knows that bodybuiding need some excitement! There is only so many threads about big arms and legs you can read

Granted I will not waste my life watching any interview with him

This is why nobody Likes Shawn  The man is as two faced and self serving as they come. That is fine but  he pretends to take the high road and act like he has a bigger cause. Now he has so much to say about Lee Thompson and such but weren't they such good friends? and if so hello! didn't he know all what he was doing? So now he wants to pretend to be so shocked and name call but that is typical Shawn.  Lee must not have given him enough hush money

Back in the day shawn was The main person  who always complained about how things were run and threw everyone under the bus in the process and now the IFBB is as right as they come? Guaranteed if Shawn were still competing he would be out there squealing about how he knew it was corrupt all along and how he helped bring it to light

With Shawn one only has to follow the money. All these years later and he still hasn't changed.

you can run a not for profit and pay yourself 3 million a year. payroll is a business expense, not a profit. one of the great corporate scams out there.

Let's be honest - bodybuilding can be boring as fuck and just like you said, Mike, we need some excitement. Regardless of where someone stands on this issue, it's been the most interesting story since the PDI.

So this just confirms that Lee knows where the bodies are buried and they better leave him alone. A lawsuit could have proven to be very messy and brought down everyone.

We will see how his operation goes.  It may take some time but I see them gaining access to some platforms that the IFBB doesn't. The money for a promoter is in the Men's Physique and Bikini and I don't blame them for focusing on that.  I'm sure people are going to laugh as the first contests may not have much traction but I bet it will catch on.

*Mr. Manion, NPC, Mr. Thompson and Nspire have also confirmed that all athletes, sponsors and promoters can compete and/or do business freely with NPC, Nspire, or any other amateur bodybuilding, fitness and physique organization without any negative repercussions or fear of retribution from Mr. Manion, NPC, Mr. Thompson and/or Nspire. – Here is where it gets very interesting. The ‘tortuous interference’ aspect of Thompson’s lawsuit against Manion was exactly just this and it appears that is a one-sided angle of the agreement. The NSL has not even hosted its first show (which will be on December 12), so at best, this is a preventive maintenance inclusion if you view it as being geared towards Thompson.

But for the NPC and Manion, on the other hand, it definitely looks as if this is an admission of guilt. Before you say that we’re jumping to conclusions, take into consideration a memo sent out by Manion to the NPC district chairpersons that instructs them not to “intimidate, threaten, punish, harass and/or coerce Lee Thompson’s and/or Nspire’s current and/or prosepective [sic] athletes, members, customers, sponsors, vendors, family members and/or business partners as a result of those individuals or entities doing business with or considering doing business with Mr. Thompson and/or Nspire. Nor shall any District Chairperson disparage Mr. Thompson, his family members and/or Nspire. Your complete cooperation is required.”

Why would the head of an organization – and the one ultimately responsible for the actions of his subordinates – need to spell this out when that type of behavior should never be tolerated to begin with?

When there is a lawsuit slapped on someone and then they announce that an agreement has been made to drop said suit, we can speculate as to the reasons why. But when the exact same behavior as the allegations stated is quickly spelled out in a memo distributed on one side, the court of public opinion has the burden of proof for a conviction.
