I believe he was referring to the Matt Sera fight, when Sera shocked everyone, and tko'ed GSP. GSP murdered Serra in the rematch.
I guess there was some confusion as I just said "Matt" because I couldn't remember his last name at the time I was posting. That how much of a fluke it was. Maybe this might be the same case with Rhonda. That's why I think that whenever a champ is defeated there should be an automatic rematch. I don't think she was focused for this fight as she suddenly became a main stream celebrity and was involved in some many other projects all the while Holms was training in the most premier fighter camp in the world. I also think Rhonda really believed that she's some super woman and that nobody was even in her league. I mean, considering her past performance it wasn't a leap. Of course people say she has weak competition. But that's what they said about Holms. Rogan was especially hard on her imply that she just didn't belong there. And he, along with Chael Sonnen, even doubted her boxing record.
Anyway, well see if Holly is the real deal. And I wonder what those people are saying now when they accuse the UFC of being corrupt and the fights are fixed. Rhonda was not only a cash cow for Dana White and really promoted and put women's MMA on the map, but it seems he really likes her and they are good friends irl.
Again, I am not a fan of Rhonda and I was very pleased that she got decisively beaten. My favorite part of the fight was not the knock out but when she went for a left hook and Holly just effortlessly ducked under and Rhonda fell to her knee and bounced against the fence. She looked so out classed.
