as a  long time mma fan, the way that rousey was defeated with ease i dont see how she can defeat holm.

she was utterly dominated in every sense,  ronda would need at least a year or two to even catch her, if even possible.

plus she was beat so bad, she will never be the same.

Might have been different if she wasn't trying to prove something by staying on her feet.

She did take Holm down. She just couldn't finish because Holm was well prepared with a defense and escape.

As I said, if they fight again, Rousey won't even be able to get this close, as Holm's takedown defense will be much better. Rousey, when she heals, is going to film a movie. Holm is going back to the gym.

exactly think lizzy amazes me how dumb people .

ronda was so outclassed it wasnt evne funny shes a one trick poney her arm bar,    her stand up is sloppy and amateurish, i think she thought it

was better than it was cause she fought women with lil to no skill like her.  holms stand up is light years ahead of hers, no way ronda will get that

good.

What happened to Gina Gurano?  Wasn't she undefeated?

Cyborg whooped her ass into retirement.

Carano also was a much better standup fighter than Rousey.

she will publicly minimize her injuries.  I bet we see old/faked/shopped pics in the coming weeks.

I doubt we ever see her drinking soup thru a wired face like Kanye West.

Her camp will keep saying "she's just a little sore, taking some time to relax" when she's really in a clinic wearing metal on her face for 8 weeks.

X2.

I'm guessing this summer, Rousey will make a Kevin Hart movie and make more money than she'll make the rest of her fighting career.  Without getting punched in the face.  Then she'll endorse a Buick and make enough $ to buy five new homes.  Then she'll get some guest spots on CBS' CSI or something.  She'll be sprinkled all over, a hot blonde version of Carano and she'll do fine.  Not a mega-star, but far more interesting than a scrawny jennifer lawrence.  She'll get really hot now, without the test bloat.

Just read a heading stating she's gonna be back!

Has anyone retired after just one loss? Don't think so, but don't know this world that well...

A kick like that would take down a lot of men, even trained ones.  Was brutal.

What will Rousey love more?

Being a celebrity or fighting?

IMO, over the past year, she's gone way overboard cultivating this badass, anti #DNB attitude.  Talking all that shit, acting really trashy before this fight... Also what was that talk about "I'm gonna retire after this fight anyway" ?

I'd have to lean toward her quietly taking a break to make movies, commercials, and get paid $$$

it's way easier, and she suddenly has a new realization of her mortality.   Staring at her busted face in the mirror for 3 months... I bet her agent is lining up shit for summer 2016 now.

She's been eating up the celeb thing.  Was torture watching her "act" in the Entrourage move.

Tyson after Holyfield.

Tyson was brain raped after losing to Buster.  Physically he was a beast but mentally he couldn't do it anymore.  The Holyfield ear bite was his way of getting out of the fight he knew he was going to lose.

Tyson had an excuse after Buster, when Holyfield took him apart he had no excuse, second fight he bottled it, he was a coward.
He turned out to be just a bully.
Holyfield was the first person he fought who wasnt scared of him.
After Holyfield everyone had his number.

It's a hard crash to earth when you think you're invincible and lose.  Especially with everyone around you feeding you bullshit enough to make your head explode.  Once you believe your own hype the fall down isn't graceful at all.

Ronda was already pissing people off left and right a long time before she lost. I never understood the hate myself but reading any comments relating to an article about her and half of them would be sticking in the knife.
She was rammed down the throat by the UFC, everywhere you looked RR and I can understand how it became a bit much.

Once the aura is gone it's gone forever. No retrieving that air of invincibility...
