That's pretty stupid pf an argument. Meat eaters live in houses too. Everyone does. Veganism is not about harming nothing. It's about doing the least amount of harm that can be done reasonably.
Veganism is about feeling morally superior and control. Vegans are like Fundamentalist Christians in their zeal and how their philosophical point of life is the best and you are less than them if you don't see it exactly how they do. You want to eat vegan , good for you the problem arises when you start trying to dictate what others do , I have a MASSIVE problem with people trying to control other people.
The Animal suffering plea is childish and unnatural. Life is suffering , nature is indifferent to suffering. Humans are animals , animals eat other animals , this is nature. The rest of predators get a pass for their deliberate cause of suffering but humans don't , hypocrisy. They will spout off that animals are just like us , they have feelings and emotions etc , if that's the case they shouldn't get a pass for eating prey before it's dead , because after all they're " just like us "
Veganism is a cult , like Scientology a lot of parallels. Ironically they are so concerned about defenseless animals and suffering , try and take away their right to an abortion see what happens. There are a lot of benefits to a vegan diet but most vegans are young without an families , the vegan diet won't work for most people , it's to restrictive , time consuming and to much effort. People have to much other shit going on.
