Great players have never been "shut down". They have been contained, corralled and slowed down but they eventually figured it out that's why they are great.

Jordan didn't always guard the other teams pg/primary ball handler (Pippens role) he was on the primary scorer, so in the  case of Curry they could match up.  

Jordan would have loved the challenge, he definitely would have made things uncomfortable for Curry while forcing himself offensively on who ever was defending him, taking that man out of his game.

As 240 said Curry needs multiple dominate seasons before he can ever be the GOAT.

That said we need to enjoy this performance because it's definitely dominating.

I've watched alot of basketball. I've never seen a person so accurate it doesn't seem real. He'll be better than Jordan at the end of his career if not injured.  I'd be cool with that. Jordan is a piece of shit. I'm still a Spur fan but Curry is the best player in the league. Only the Spurs stand in his way. If he can overcome them, the sky's the limit. If any of us was drafting a team, it'd be Lebron 1000% of the time over Curry.

the team has 2 all star guards.  So one of them is always open.  1 man cannot stop an all-star in this league.

All injuries equal, CLE probably takes it to 7 games last year.  And in game 7, my $ is on LBJ to win it.    Lebron lost BOTH of his team's all stars.  And many of the scrubs were dinged up too.  They should have been swept, given those lineups on paper. 

Lebron is learning to pace himself.  He'll get small and weak and "tired" again.  He will take off 2 weeks in January to "rest"... visit Miami for HGH lol.... and by valentines day, he'll ba attacking people, not the basket haha.  Remember last year?  By early Feb, Lebron would leave the empty basket until a defender showed up, just to physically facefvck the defender.  He was insane.   He's on low doses now, but he'll amp it up for the spring run, and it'll be great again.

(my bet is lebron blaming back flareups in early Jan, and again, coming back in beastmode)

It could certainly be true, but I can't change my overall view of Michael Jordan, because of one man's personal experience with the guy. I don't know Jordan personally, as I'm pretty sure no one else here does. What I gathered appreciation and tons of respect for was his talent. He did things I've never seen before and carried an era with tons of class. It was his overall class on the court that made me a fan.

On a social level, he could very well be an asshole, but he was a basketball player, not necessarily a role model for anyone else.

I guess it would just seem weird if I were to go solely on hearsay in developing an opinion towards someone that I've never met. I usually like to arrive at a conclusion regarding others either based off of my personal experience with them or by way of what I might have witnessed.
