Lost in all this Curry hullabaloo is that the mighty Spurs are dicking down the league to the tune of a 17-4 record.  They are still my pick to win barring any injury catastrophes.

i'm a longtime spurs hater, but will root for them over the warriors.

Curry doing leg kick dances about 3 pointers early in the game... dancing nonstop... brining cam newton along for press conferences... curry is starting to live in a bubble, enjoying the hype, doing the hollywood thing.   That emotion has his game off the charts, with all going well. 

Let's see what happens when he has a knee swollen.  Or a bloody mouth.  Or the story becomes "What happened to Curry?" when his productivity dips.  The NBA/espn love machine works both ways.

I've watched alot of basketball. I've never seen a person so accurate it doesn't seem real. He'll be better than Jordan at the end of his career if not injured.  I'd be cool with that. Jordan is a piece of shit. I'm still a Spur fan but Curry is the best player in the league. Only the Spurs stand in his way. If he can overcome them, the sky's the limit. His has more substance than Tracey Mcgrady though. I like Steph, he is a family dude.

yep.  it's half marketing.  WOuldn't surprise me a bit if there's incentive to let curry get that extra step (for defenders to back off a bit) because his team going 22-0 means big TV money, and ALL NBA players win next offseason.

Warriors go 75-7, win the championship, and there's a new jordan for kids to worship.  Family man, big smile, fun and positive, not covered with scary tats or silly pants suits, or fake trendy glasses.   He can hold a mic without embarrassing the NBA.   he's perfect.  Every player in the NBA has motivation to make sure Curry is a success.

I bet the warriors get every call when it's close.  The league is so boring, it needs a star.

They haven't been super-impressive this year but I think they're still at the top of the East and they haven't had their second-best player all year.  They'll be alright.
