where in the constitution do they mention "right to sell arms to felons"?

Or is this magically a "well, if the constitution doesn't point out something exactly, then it's legal inherently" ?

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Don't see anywhere it says a gun has to be purchased in a gun store.
Don't see anywhere it says I need to provide identification.
Don't see anywhere is say I need a background check.
Don't see anywhere .gov gets to make a "list" of who has guns.

The constitution doesn't say I cannot have rocket launchers.

Can I?

Yes. You should.

ya ever play goldeneye on the N64?

in battle mode, they had remote control rocket launchers... you launched the rocket then could steer it.  I really wish more games at it.  Me and my bro would battle on the "Streets" game board and you could steer a rocket from one side of the block to the other, it was epic.

Loved that game.

i've flirted with battlefield on PS4 and COD on xbox360.
son is begging for the new star wars game on xbox one.

nothing has the attraction of goldeneye on the N64.  I'd buy that game today on any of those platforms if I could find something comparable.  :(

You do realize the first cannons used in the revolutionary war were privately owned? We should be able to have any weapon the US army has, the whole point of the 2nd amendment is for "we the people" to get rid of a tyrannical government.

think that through.

Imagine the san bernadino shooters, armed with 50 calibers mounted to their SUV, a handful of grenades, and perhaps some C4...

Oh, and they bought it all legally from the trunk of a car, because that's legal too, no ID needed.

Do ya think the 51 people shot that day were more worried about obama confiscation, or the bad guys with untraceable guns lighting the place up?

Why arent you shooting by now? The GOP denied healthcare to the first responders because they would rather use the money for loopholes (for foreign Companies no less).

There is nothing to think through, I will not give up rights for the illusion of safety. The fucking mentality of people, call the police and wait, hope your turn to be executed does come before they arrive. Yeah the cops got the shooters, after the damage was already done.

Or they could go buy a bunch of fertilizer and some solvent and blow up a building. Or hijack a plane and crash it into buildings, or any thousand other ways to cause death and destruction.

What about nuclear bombs?   Should the people have access to this weapon, since the Army does?

Sure if they can afford it, why not. How about you stay on target, instead of trying to introduce some ridiculous tangent.

With failsafes and codes and all of the other stuff that the Feds have. It wouldn't be "less safe".

Cause the simple argument - it's LEGAL in 2/3 of the states to sell guns out of your trunk to anyone without an ID - is one that is a little tough for you to defend?

Don't know the exact number, but pretty sure this is bullshit. I know in the state of California, where San Bernardino is, legally you have to take your gun to an FFL for private party transfers. So the fact that those two had the guns anyways was already illegal.

Since you have nothing better to do, you can go here and count the states.
http://smartgunlaws.org/category/state-private-sales-of-guns/

Point being, no matter the law, legal or not, if someone wants to sell/buy a gun, it's VERY easy to do outside of the law. More laws won't change that.

6 states require ID for private sale.  Twelve others have certain restrictions, I think.

laws WILL change it because some sellers don't want to go to prison.

SOME sellers won't do it because they fear ATF traps that will land them in prison.  Many of those selling them at gun shows are rich, successful upper middle class dudes that will NOT sell them to strangers anymore, because they have family, mortgage, etc

Are you retarded? Seriously?
1-2 phone calls and theoritically I could have any number of guns I want. It's already the law in California and it didn't stop the muzzies in San Bernardino. And you can't sell them at guns shows in CA without a background check and 10 day wait. So that already proves that the law doesn't work, let's add more laws? LOL

I go to gun shows all the time.  There are dozens of dudes at every gun show, walking around with signs "Ar-15 for sale, $1500".   If you approach them, they lead you to their car (Or they're already carrying it".   They hand it to you, you had them 15 one-hundred dollar bills, and you walk your separate ways.

Sit around the snack area at any gun show, you see that shit nonstop.   A person can make a good living that way... buy 100 rifles for 100,000.   Sell them all over the next few weeks for 150,000... (just a markup from 1000 to 1500), and VOILA, the dude just legally made $50k per year.  Just for selling on the weekends.

What kind of people are willing to pay 50% markup on a gun they can buy legally?  ;)

yes, maybe some getbiggers can "hop on the cell" and get their hands on ten AK-47s without using the loophole law, lol, maybe we all know major arms dealers.  but I don't lol.

You don't need to know major arms dealers. I bet you could ask 3 of your friends and within a day or two you could get your hands on a gun.
How many of those gunshow loophole guns are used in crimes? I know several people that would pay more for guns just so they don't have to register them, not surprising to me. What surprises me is someone like you who claims to support gun rights, yet constantly looks to add more and stricter gun laws that would only create more law breakers out of honest, law abiding people and do absolutely nothing to increase safety.

on "a" gun?   maybe a shit 32 from a kid on a corner?

Under the loophole - I'm able to anonymously buy ten AK47s at Sunday's gun show... IF I have the cash.

coach posted it... Nationally, 1.4% of gun crimes are traced back to loophole sales.  Who knows how many actually, since most shootings are unsolved with few leaving gun at scene.

these monsters were buried on American soil and given the 'proper Islamic funeral rites' and processes...

How do you think more laws will reduce shootings?

More than a decade ago, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold opened fire on their classmates at Columbine High School using a semiautomatic rifle, pistol and shotguns they purchased through acquaintances who had visited a local gun show. There was no required record of the sale and no background check; just an exchange of cash and a handshake.

In March 2010, John Patrick Bedell strolled up to the Pentagon and started shooting at two police officers with a semiautomatic handgun. Months before the attack, he tried to buy a gun in California but was denied, after a background check showed he had a documented history of mental illness. So Bedell instead went to neighboring Nevada, where gun laws are more lenient, and bought a 9mm handgun from a private seller who didn't have to check out his history.
