1) you said it's complete crap.  Why is it crap?

2) you say this is a dem talking point... in order to discredit it?  Tell me WHAT is inaccurate about what I said.  A felon CAN buy multiple high-end guns quickly, no paperwork, no ID, to background check, using the loophole.  True or false?

background checks are still done at gun shows.

what you are talking about-private sales between individuals- can apply to absolutely anything, not just guns, and there is no possible way to 'regulate' or stop it (see drug dealers for example, drugs and all transactions are already totally illegal) and has nothing whatsoever inherently to do with 'gun shows'.

ive bought lots of guns at gun shows and they have run the standard check on all of them. if you find some guy who will sell his gun in a private transaction with no check, the fact that it is in the building hosting a gunshow is completely arbitrary as the same exact deal could be made anywhere outside the building, parking lot, house, apartment, street corner, parking garage, back yard, park, anywhere on earth.
