Friend was waxing Christmas poetic about his cheesedoodle family and their clan's new cat and I felt an urge to stick my head in an oven.

The gayness was almost too much to bear.

My parents' cat, Rocky. He is such an aggressive asshole to other cats and just lazy rest of the time. Perfect pet. Kills mice, rats and birds too.

I would suggest those who oppose cats to read up on them. Throughly. They are more badass than you could POSSIBLY imagine. Through and through. The things I have PERSONALLY seen them do is nothing short of impressive.

The day mine passs away ... is the day a large piece of me passes away, too. Am quite serious.

bella the girl cat was young 11 yrs old  when she died last yr,,we got her together but it was my wifes 1st 'kid'they had a great bond,a shelter rescue she was 'bitchy'typical girl..anyway she got sick bad had tumor in neck and couldn't eat ,i would try anything in the end to get her to eat,food on spoon ,water with a dropper ,it was brutak ending,my wife was out with friends and she knew the cat was going to pass but hoped not that night ,she did in front of me i watched her take last breaths and i never had any real bond with her at all but i cried'no homo' and layed with her ,my one daughter said i didn't think big boys cried daddy..my wife got home and saw her laying there and lost it,,she still cries at times over her.the 2 boys davinci and cannoli are great cats.my cat i had 15 yrs rocky died in front of me and wife 'heart attack' too i was a real mess for a week after that,devestated.

Research to back this up?

Also to differentiate dog and cat hygiene?

Cats are far more hygienic in general, not to mention they do not slobber on you like a dog (I like dogs but think how many more chances they create to spread germs).

Either way, neither makes me sick, neither pisses me off - by default.

This is not the south park "cheesing" episode... have you ever seen how meticulously cats piss/shit away from people and bury it? They also rarely piss as they are desert animals hence require very little water.
