And take your time, so cut those carbs SLOWLY, week by week, depending on your progress. A good article for everyone with cutting plans, http://www.simplyshredded.com/layne-norton-the-most-effective-cutting-diet.html
Yup!!

Great advice,I always tell people that the fat they put on wasn`t an overnight thing, and that taking it off should be a fairly slow process also.

They always ask how much weight they can lose in a certain time period, instead of just enjoying the journey as opposed to arriving at the destination in record time.

They're more in love with the possible results, than the tough challenge, which is a mentality issue that serves as a good validation whether they have the right mindset for staying in the game long term.

Getting that pro card would be great, but why not competing in the pro division for once? Anyway, it's understandable that you're done with something you did for many years.

Yup,it`s a journey and at times they forget that it`s going to take hard work and dedication to diet and training.

You`re right,if I do win the card, which I should have won in 2011 (long story but got stranded travelling to the contest),I`ll try a few pro shows just for the hell of it,but most of the NABBA pros are a lot younger than me,but it would be fun just to say that I did it.

Happy New Year to you and yours DP!  ;)

You're timing is great, it's 0:23 here. A happy & healthy 2016 for you and the rest of the Getbig bunch as well, may all your goals been reached 8)

Sucks to hear about that traveling shit. I don't know the NABBA that well, so I was thinking they also had pro masters shows (@ all BB federations: take notes!). It actually makes no sense to give a masters competitor a pro card; it's more a symbolic thing :-\

I'm waiting until I can find a contest where I will be the only contestant for the 50 and over Masters, 6-3+ and I can default to the plastic trophy. The I will get my coveted blue stars. Yea, I will.

No, you know exactly what I mean. What's the point of lifting regularly/seriously when you don't look like you lift?

You have been lifting for so long, and you honestly have nothing to show for it. Who cares how much you can deadlift when you look like Bert from Sesame Street.

You are probably at least 20% bodyfat, and have the gall to judge others on whether or not they lift. If anything, the jokes on you pal.

Shizzo,

I am going to try to finish the new year off by being more positive here.

You really should focus on improving yourself rather than pointing out someone's physique and other flaws especially when they have a better one and are alot stronger(which is what Chaos trains for anyways)

You said you stopped the drinking, well widen those delts and improve on what you have got.

99.999999999% of the people here, even the ones that look good, would and will never win anything today beyond a local nightclub contest, you me and chaos included. Yet you're not focusing on improving yourself.

workout consistently with no drinking or excessive junk intake and no stupid training and tell me you won't look and feel better at the end of 2016 than you do right now.

want to be a mod, then start living like you think a mod should be here
