If it wasn't the Popes comments, why did you pick today to be the fall of Trump?
For me, Hawaii time, it was yesterday when I made the post.
Why? I've being feeling the trend recently, from personal experience and a few other political based forum on the net, that the people that support Trump -- though they still support him, are starting to question and raise their eyebrows.
Why yesterday in particular? A good friend on mind that was a rabid supporter of Trump is no longer going to support him. Attacks on Cruz. Nasty personal attacks on Jeb. Starting to back track on as promise not to run as an independent. Making claims that seem dubious and cannot be proven (personally saw hundred of American Arabs publicly cheering after 9/11). That he oppose the Iraqi invasion which maybe he did but there is no record of that. That he claim Bush KNEW there were no WMDS and said they were anyway. How did Bush get so smart? What did he know that the Russian, French, Israeli and UK intelligence agencies didn't didn't know? It's one thing to say that Bush was wrong, quite another to say he lied.
And though I didn't plan on voting for Trump for the nominee, I was a big fan of his and actually for the first time looked forward to the debates. But now it's beginning, again, BEGINNING, to wear thin.
Nonetheless, there is nothing in my first post where I mentioned the Pope or his comments and did say specifically: "It's not one big thing. It's a bunch of little things starting to add up and take it's toll."
So to say I started this thread SOLELY BASED on the Pope's comments is just wrong and disingenuous.
