Yes, and there's no need to do so with a DB spotter. Too bad you can't adjust the back seat, but I like the concept.

I've used that bench in that exact gym. It sucks but Atlantis is one of the best fuckin' gyms EVER.

I'm glad he showed us how to "mix it up". Until now I never heard of this advanced training concept. Maybe next he'll show us "real reps with weight you can handle". That would be cool

If you slam the 130s forward from your shoulders on those racks, you'll likely eventually snap the telescoping bar. When I am training alone (most of the time), it's a PITA to get anything north of the 70s to my shoulders. It's always some combo of knee-kick plus a hammer curl and that can get dangerous. I've had to bail out of a set more than once because of a failure to get one up.

The truth is that lifters only care about their rotator cuffs when the harm is done. Like me.
