Trump was a strong liberal until 2010.  Think about that.  For 61 or 62 years of life, Trump was an anti-gun, pro-abortion democrat who's been friends with the clintons for decades.

Trump promised to pay legal defense for anyone that assaults someone who disturbs his rallies.
