it's a disease in Hollywood now.....it's the decade of Remakes.....almost nothing is Original anymore......these Flicks are full of Cliché, they're predictable at best.....you might find one good movie these days out 15 new releases...Hollywood should thank the International Box-office and kiss their asses for helping them make profit on many Domestic B.O failures......there are tons of Great classics that should never be remade...."Point Break" should be a lesson for how not to ruin a classic.....now , they're Bringing back a new "Death Wish", starring Bruce Willis as Paul Kersey.....if the story is right, Bruce might have a crack at it, but it's hard to duplicate Bronson....

You'd think instead of doing remakes, they truly play on the nostalgia angle and just re-release the old movies. Save on production costs and get another generation interested. I'd go see the old Point Break in theaters than the new one. Not sure why they don't try this.

Made nearly $500,000,000 worldwide.. why not? Besides, was the best one since the original first two.

Good decisions for the fans of the original story lines.

Looking forward to King Conan, Twins 2 and new Predator(will continue from the original one).

Speak for your self. How serious and emotional can a robot movie be? I think comedy suits the genre better and I watched terminator 1 like a million times when I was a little kid. I got terminator 1 toys. I acted the entire terminator 1 movie with my friend and some toy guns outside, causing havoc all over the neighborhood.

BUT STILL I think comedy suits the movie better. It has so many inside jokes referring to the past terminator movies 1&2 in a funny way, reminding us that life goes forward

that scene wasn't disco it was 80's dance music, replace the cool 80's music with rihanna or some other awful current dance music

instead of the terminator trying to get through people dancing in the club just have them be people standing there texting on their iphones, not to mention the smart phone obsession would help a large cyborg with an accent blend in more as an infiltration unit in today's world

the terminator would check ginger's text messages to see that sarah is at tech noir, rather than hearing her say she's at tech noir on the answering machine

the terminator wouldn't throw a guy out of a phone booth to check the phone book for sarah's address, he would grab a guys smart phone out his hands and google sarah connor

it's not that hard to make the terminator more modern

Yeah earl, I said you can't remake that movie because 1980's is not 2016 and 2016 is not 1980's, get it? People are completely differend from a 1980's people, compeltely differend race of people, LOL! Because of the huge fan demand, another sequal is the only answer and the sequal is made in today's world, not in 1980's world, obviously.

And dude, terminator doesn't need a smart phone, remember? Terminator is a damn super computer that can access to any type of digital data, and without cable wire  . And the phone booth scene, yes, the 1980's people couldn't have comprehended that terminator doesn't need to search information from phone directory because terminator can directly connect to every single damn computer/phone data on earth, LOL. Terminator 3 and genisys were perfect for their time, terminator 1 was perfect for it's time.

For a dude who used concurrent dos 286 system to play wolfenstein 3d without a sound card probably thought van damme was something else.

But fast forward to a time where you don't believe in anything, nothing is magical, nothing is special because you can learn everything about human psychology, body images, conspicary theories, food within a mouse click or touching a screen and van damme suddenly seems like a sub human to the average joe of that time.

Arnie needs to ditch the Terminator thing. At this point, he's a rusty bucket of bolts, for real. Hell, in T2 he isn't particularly impressive ... even thought the flick is badass.

Beyond the first two, this series is so much scrap metal.

If Cameron's not on board, it needs to just cease to exist.

P.S. A sequel to Predator could work. But dollars to doughnuts they'll furk up that, too.
