DC MADAM LAWYER SAYS CLIENT LIST RELEASE MAY HAPPEN IN A FEW DAYS
Montgomery Sibley, the lawyer for the infamous “D.C. Madam” Jeane Palfrey, issued a statement saying that the release of the Washington D.C. Madam client list may occur within the next few days. Sibley recently petitioned the Supreme Court to have a gag order lifted on him, so he would be allowed to release client list to the public. The SCOTUS has denied the request. However, Sibley seems determined to release it, regardless of what they say. To say there must be some nervous individuals in Washington D.C. as well as some wealthy corporations that make regular visits there to lobby Congress, would be understating things.
Palfrey previously ran a shell company called Pamela Martin & Associates, which was a front for an organized high-end prostitution ring that serviced very wealthy and very well-connected individuals, primarily in our nation’s capitol. It’s all over now and has been for years. However, the one part that keeps on persisting is the massive and comprehensive client list of people and companies that contacted her prostitution company – and it’s about to finally be made public after a long wait.
Attorney Sibley has said numerous times that he feels the list must be released for the good of the public since it “contains information relevant to the upcoming presidential election.” He hasn’t so far elaborated further as to what information is on it exactly or even what party it’s about. All things considered, though, it’s doubtful that anything incriminating would be on it about a Democratic nominee.
Sibley has already released a portion of the list, showing government agencies and private companies that have records of calls made to the D.C. Madam. No specific names of individuals were released relating to these, but 174 total groups were listed.Sibley commented about his recent SCOTUS denial, “Now that I am at that bridge, I am going to figure out the best way across. That will take a few days and it is a big decision for me.”The list of released entities includes the following government agencies: Department of Health and Human Services, FBI, General Services Administration, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Internal Revenue Service, National Drug Intelligence Center, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army Information Systems Command, Department of Commerce, Department of State, U.S. Postal Service and U.S. Forest Service.
Some non-governmental entities include Archdiocese of Washington, Embassy of Japan, Bethlehem Steel, Constellation Energy/BGE, Hewlett-Packard, Johns Hopkins University, Washington Gas and several large law firms.
The potential of this list cannot be easily overstated. For example,
David Vitter – who recently ran for and lost the Governorship of Louisiana, appeared on the list in 2007.
