I read a training article recently that said that tape was placebo bullshit. Do your clients get any relief out of it? The same article said that "rest" and "ice" out of "rice" we're counter-productive.
Tore my hammy sprinting four weeks ago (blood under skin, etc) - instantly hit with Ice, compression, aleve and k-tape.
Played 100% only one week later, and have been squatting, running, rucking no prob since.
So, I'm not sure what helped, but there could be something to it - if you stretch it over the injury, I think the thought is it "activates the muscle" or something.....could be BS....but who knows.
