But still even with the genetics he has ones gotta wonder how will his health be in a few years, in his 50's, cause 46 is still not that old? I know someone is going to chime in and say "people die of heart attacks at 42 without taking steroids" or "I know a friend who smoked a pack a cigarette a day for 50 years and lived until 92" but that's not the point I'm trying to make

For some even if it means dying, it was all worth it to them

He straight up told me in person many years ago he cleans out for months at a time to make sure he has longetivity in the sport. It's worked.

Back in the hay day Dex sorta blended in with the rest.  Was to many great bodybuilders to decide who where my favs but now that most of the good old boys have retired Dexter is def one of my favs now. they just dont make um like they used to.

Ronnie holds the record for Most #1 placement and I think Dex is 2 away. You have to give him credit. Had a very bad 2011 maybe 2012, bounced back and is kicking ass once again....

Lol I like how every year everyone would say Dex is done and Dex is getting old. And every year he comes back better than ever. He placed 2nd at last year's Mr. O FFS! Beat out guys like Rhoden, Wolf, Ramy, Branch  ::)

I'd love to see him come in and dominate the O again, but I doubt that's gonna happen... Still, he could easily place top 3 this year, if not top 2 again if Rhoden comes in off again and Kai doesn't jump in (which is the likely scenario).

On the one hand I'd love to see new blood up there in the top 5 (Compton, McCarver, Lenartowicz, Mongomery in 2 or 3 years, etc...), but on the other hand its good to see a guy who keeps getting written off every year come in and prove everyone wrong.

he's seriously ageless.  And he barely trains... rememeber him pissing off Arnold by saying he probably lifts about an hour a day precontest?  lol

people live in the gym doing cardio.  Dex pops an extra dose of ECA and gets to 4% bodyfat.
