Wrist pain and supplementation
« on: March 23, 2006, 10:17:15 PM »
I have been dealing with pain in my wrists(mostly my left wrist...I am right handed) for the last year.  It started out as a dull sensation for a day or so after doing pressing movements and has progressed to the point that I sometimes have to rest for 3 or 4 days after a chest or shoulder workout  because the pain makes it difficult to bend my wrists and at times it makes daily tasks painful.  I have experimented with different grips and adjusting my form but it's to the point now where I'm considering seeing a doctor.  I would really like to try adjusting my suppplementation for a couple months and see if it improves before I go see the doc.  I read some boards and flipped through a couple old mags and want to know what you think about dosages and if you have nay other suggestions:

FLEX AUG 2005
Glucosamine 1500-2000mg per day
Chondroitin 1200mg per day
MSM 1000-2000mg per day

also thinking about
collagen hydrolsate 10g per day
Fish oil 2-6g per day

I currently take a multivitamin, drink 120-160oz water, the usual protein/creatine/glutamine and that's it.
