I smoke 2 Lambert and Butler King Size Originals a day, occasionally I go for Benson and Hedges if I feel like something stronger tasting for a change. I also have a Briar Tobacco Pipe I use occasionally, I use Dunhill Standard mixture in that.

The new UK law will mean all cigarette packets will be a shitty olive green colour and have the picture of someone's organs rotting out on the cover. Strangely they think banning 10 packs will make people smoke less which makes absolutely no fucking sense, the nanny state just keeps getting worse.

I would presume the 10 pack ban is to discourage "bulk" discounts.

We've had those rules (the plain packaging) in Australia for a while, now.  The price of smoking continues to rise here, too.  Something like $25AU to $40 a pack in a few years.

Had images like that on cig packs in Canada for years.  I don't know of anyone that quit b/c of the images, but I'm sure it has turned a few ppl off.  You can buy sleeves to place over the packs in order to cover the images.

In America the minimum pack is 22 cigarettes which I have. I would love to buy a pack with less, I find I get sort of addicted with a big fat pack of cigs.

So the answer is to buy nasty low tar cigarettes that are less adictive so I don't feel so compelled to smoke them every night. Right now I only smoke like 1 cigarette a week cause I hate the nasty weak cigarettes I buy (in contrast I had a MASSIVE dip habit 10 years ago, dipped all night every night for a decade)

I used to smoke cigarettes - what a waste. Cigarillos are way better.
I remember packs in Australia being "immersed" in terrible images of all sorts of illnesses. It most likely interacts with the subconscious in a bad way. Instead of making smaller packages(5ers) and educating folks to be cautious with them, they happily sell larger ones with up to 25+ cigarettes and add fear mongering imagery.
Insincere at best.

I'm a former smoker. One of best decisions I've ever made was to quit and get healthy. I cold turkeyed and fasted for the days and three nights, no food, no water and I prayed and I haven't smoked since nor even thought about it. There is power in fasting. I am proof.

No drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes.

This is the best way to go.  I'm 50 years old, yet most think I'm under 40.

I like a cigarette before work in the morning then in the evening, if you can control yourself it's a pleasant hobby and not a life consuming addiction. The headrush feels good and it helps focus the mind or relax it depending on the environment.

Marlboro Red when I'm stressed, otherwise non-smoker or limited to when going out.

The packages with damaged lungs and other such warnings have been around for ages. Studies actually proved it as ineffective, due to the packages becoming a 'collectors' item e.g. attempting to collect all different imagery. Hence why they stopped distributing them for a while. The Commission has been trying to restrict tabacco for ages, especially in the form of package and advertisement restrictions (non-colorful/non-visible brands uniform packaging, etc.). In the end it mostly comes down to healthcare systems and insurance coorperations not wanting to deal with the long-term health effects. Political at best, and nothing to do with the welfare of the populations.

Not to mention you can buy retro packets on Ebay for around £1 and fill them up with your cigs. Or you can be like James Bond in the old movies and have your own silver cigarette case. I remember the classic scene where he casually lit up a new cig with dog end of his last one then shoots the guy interrogating him "you've had your six" haha.

It's obvious you are a latent homosexual.  Sucking on long skinny objects (in this case cigarettes) appeases your carnal urge to suck an actual cock.  Just trying to help.
