What are the odds the "Far Right's" Hofer gets elected in Austria?

I see he is ahead 52-48 in the Presidential election, but with the postal votes to be counted today, what are the odds "they" don't let him take the win? (i.e. make sure the postal vote count is against)  I could see this potentially being bad for the EU if it goes through in his favor.  But, with the Brexit vote looming, I don't think the powers that be will let this happen, or it may push UK towards leaving, along with many other of the EU countries.  Any of you from Osterreich able to give any feedback? -bruce-?

This Party is on the rise in Germany. What they do not say is their Back to Nazi Ideas about Women staying at Home and making Babies for the "pure" Race...among other Radical ideas.

He can dissolve parliment, and I believe appoint the chancellor. It may be ceremonial, but he does have some powers.

I wouldn't call them radical ideas. The only reason immigrants are brought in, is to replace an aging workforce that isn't reproducing. This way, they kill two birds with one stone. Replace their own population, and make sure it's a replacement that shares their values and customs. I saw a rally of theirs in Munich, it was pretty cool. A lot of anti "nazi" protestors there that looked like skinheads. A bunch of emo twinks.

They have a lot of hidden agendas. They appeal to people because of the current situation but if you knew the deep philosophy of this Party then i think you might not think it´s pretty "Cool". i have lived here since 1985 and am an ex Politician. These people are "fueling" the Fire for their own purposes. I do not agree with mass Immigration and am not a Liberal but i have my eyes wide open and know the "scene" here.

It's pretty good that the green won since the coming drama will be glued to him and his followers. The close win, under lucky circumstances, is also an accelerator to an already imploding situation.
