Still nuts the pic but I have never been realy impressed with zane like when looking at reg park, olivia, arnold ,lou ( $ 20 paid), franco, johnny falcon etc. Just not the wow factor for me, no homo

Zane was more impressive than Reg Park. Show me one pic where Park looks more impressive. Many go on about his amazing calves. Reeves had better calves. Park's calves were ok but just never wowed me. When Park was ripped he was a twink.

Accurate analyzing but it is just a case of personal preference ( no hulkster vs narsisdeltity ).
Last week I saw pumping iron again after years and years and it struck me
how fantastic lou en franco looked, so big and shredded, amazing. Lou could have bested Arnold, so could franco. Jep I said it! 8)

He did matey. I've seen him confirm he was 220 in 1982. It's in one of his books too

This! Zane was never 225. He would smooth out after getting over 200 pounds.

And to those who claimed Zane was just a stick man or a swimmer. That's a  220-225 pound Zane right there folks. He clearly had the potential to be a large dude, but CHOSE not to go down that route. I believe it was 1974.

Yup and he wrote an article in Muscle and Fitness somewhere between 1982 and 1984 saying he HAD hit 220 or 225, but felt that his best weight was between 180 and 200. He weighed 200 (or slightly over) at the 1982 Mr. Olympia and then came in at 180 in 1983.
