Zane was cool the few times I've talked with him, all, well almost all these guys are human, catch them on a good/bad day and you'll get different reactions.
I've worked with Arnold 3 times, first 2 he was a dick, third time he was great, even lit my cigar for me after a shoot, no homo.

Met him many times, he lives here in San Diego. Still looks good and the guy is 73.

I've met Frank several times and he was always cool to me.  Doesn't seem like an asshole to me.  Far from it.

Yeah, I've rolled with Big-F (which is what his truly close friends call him) many times.  One time, he invited me along on an Ayahuasca Ceremony, where beneath the steaming Amazon canopy, our souls bonded on a plane beyond the physical, and together we stared into the face of the truth and cried tears of the purest joy... nice fella...

Met Zane a couple of times..... always came away thinking he was arrogant and not as smart as his reputation suggests. In fact I always thought he was of average intelligence.

I only spoke with him for maybe 5 or 10 minutes.  Jung never came up and neither do I recall the word "archetype" being used.  I don't worry about such things and perhaps neither should you.  ;D

This isn't to say he's perfect but then none of us are either.

I met Frank Zane at the original Gold's gym many years ago.. I was a star struck fifteen year old aspiring bodybuilder and remember engaging in conversation with Frank as he was doing a set of standing calf raises..

He was very gracious and friendly as he changed the subject from bodybuilding to offer me some sincere advice.. He spontaneously encouraged me to stay in school because that was the most important thing .. What a great person he was to be a positive influence to a young person like that ..
