I'm not a vegan, but, besides the lack of a decent protein source and all other variables being equal, do you believe a person drinking milk and eating red meat is healthier then a person that doesn't?
If veganism is so unhealthy due to a lack of decent protein, then vegans would be dropping dead. But they aren't. So......................

When vegans start dropping dead due to lack of protein, then we have something to worry about.
As for me, I am not a full fledged vegan. I still eat meat (but I cut out read meat 99.9% of the time. If I go to a BBQ, I may have a burger). I am going on the 5th day (or something--I lost count) of not eating meat. Today is my close friends daughters birthday and he is having a bbq. I will still clear of the red meat, but will have chicken.
Obviously, I have no problem with people who eat meat, since I still do eat meat. However, I have drastically cut down on it's consumption. I see no reason to eat meat every day, especially since vegan options are a fine replacement. Overall, I feel less bloated, poop better, and have shed some permabulking weight. My strength has not decreased in the gym, and I have not lost size.
Just my 2 cents.
