I'm a hardline conservative and agree with Coach on most issues. The political lynching theory is just a smokescreen to mask the fact that he's a pathological liar incapable of telling the truth on even the simplest of biographical details.

The riskiest time after a concussion is the several hours afterwards. Brain is susceptible, judgment and movement is impaired, and, well, you should know this already.

Any doc that "let him come back in, then sit out all week" is placing children at a very huge risk. I cannot believe a doc actually did this.

If you embellished, just a little, and he took a hard knock and you wanted to save face on the QB side by citing a concussion, just own it. But you're trashing the team doctor here, man, and I highly doubt he'd like that. You're saying he endangered the lives of children by letting them play after diagnosing them. Doctors lose their license for things like that, man.

If you stretched things, just own it. Otherwise, you're trashing that doc publicly in a big way, accusing him of this, man.

That's beyond highly irregular. Doctors and coaches would be losing jobs/license over actions like this.

Either coach exaggerated for the sake of legend, or these doc/coaches are endangering lives with their "play thru a concussion" protocols.

This may be the biggest mess Coach has ever started on getbig, because he publicly accused the team football coach and doctor of letting a child with diagnosed with a concussion return in the same game. Coach said "all the signs", which means it was a pretty massive head injury... there are a LOT of concussion signs, and the child had ALL of them, coach wrote.

Letting a person with ALL of the symptoms return, the same game? Well, coach, you have accused these 2 people of some serious infractions here on the message boards. This has nothing to do with politics.

It's been about 15 years since I was playing hs football, but I would say many more kids get concussions in practice (which are often unreported) than in games. I remember one time in practice sophomore year when I took a really hard helmet to helmet hit and felt dizzy and kinda sick afterwards. But there was no way I was going to go complain to the coach that I didn't feel right.

Been longer for me.

That said, concussions today are SERIOUS.

We treated everything like it was no big deal then, but today, the coaches and medical staff are supposed to be paying big time attention.

There is no room for that stuff today.

I got an email from Josh and he was good enough to email Coach's sons school about the whole concussion scenario with screenshots of Coach's posts, and of course stating real names

Only cause of his genuine concern for other students being put in games with concussions

All this concussion hysteria is just a further example of the pussification of society. The real goal is to end football entirely and replace it with wuss sports.

Really? Let see then, is it what I've posted about training? Dieting? I don't seem to get many arguements if any on those topics. What about other topics or discussions? Nothing else other than my political views.

The bravery of playing thru a concussion. Did that really happen, coach? Did a team doc really clear a player to return in the same game after diagnosing him with all of the concussion symptoms, as you claimed?
