The bravery of playing thru a concussion.   Did that really happen, coach?  Did a team doc really clear a player to return in the same game after diagnosing him with all of the concussion symptoms, as you claimed?

I don't take concussions lightly and don't give me the science BS, I've been doing this waaaaaaay too long to not know or understand what could happen and the paper work and testing a school district makes a coach go through to get  hired is fairly extensive. You sit there and Google your answers not knowing anything else execpt what's before you probably not knowing there are exceptions to every rule. If a kid goes out with some symptoms and is told to sit out for a quarter and half plus half time and requests to return in the middle of the third quarter, is retested and passes a field exam, he can. As his father if I didn't think it was safe I would have said something. Protocol was followed by going to doctor the next day for a concussion exam and he passed the next day. But he was required to sit out of practices. No, you don't give a shit this is pure troll job.

At the time he went down there was an sideline test by the AT. The hit came in the first quarter with time to spare. He came out and showed all of the signs of concussion and didn't pass. He sat out the rest of the first and second quarter plus half time. He asked to go in, team doc performed another field test and he passed. Protocol is to go a dr after the game and when he gets cleared he can return to play but he still had to sit out the following game.

I sure hope this isn't a regular practice.

When a player shows "all the signs of a concussion", he should never go back into the game. 

Is the protocol really "to go a dr after the game and when he gets cleared he can return to play" as you claimed?   That's not what others have found when searching the law on this.
