Ah, let's be realistic here. Platz was 200 lbs and Ronnie actually won the Russian grand Prix at over 300 pounds in contest shape. C'mon, it shoul be common sense that at over 100 lbs bigger. Ronnie's legs were the biggest ever ::)! Exception maybe calfs.
take a long hard look at the last ronnie pic i posted, open in seperate tab to see full size

not only are his legs outrageous, he also completely decimates BIG JAY and MARKUS on all other parts, just standing there

those arms

those delts

that chest

lord have mercy

Ramy will never have the density or size Ronnie had even if he weighs 350, He doesn't have the guts or heart to lift heavy as Ronnie and do what Ronnie did, today's pro bbing resembles the current NBA, all soft and weak and all drugs compared to the 80s and 90s!!!

I hate stupid comments like this. "Density?" The fuck are you talking about?

Means hard looking muscle and not soft inflated muscle.  That's density.  The current bodybuilders look inflated from drugs and pumping moderate weights. Soft inflated muscles look like crap. Look up density on google to educate yourself.

Not directed at me.... But when I think of density, I think of fat-free muscle tissue that jumps when it's flexed. Usually you have to see it "in person". It's not easy to see in pics.

Total retardation. Show me a picture of "soft inflated" muscles next to "dense" muscles so I can laugh at your overblown bs theories on leanness.

I think that "density" is an intangible perception.

An illusion. An illusion that is associated with leanness.

Example: A guy that is so lean that his 195LB body looks like it weighs 225LB.

Because he loses muscle?

DeMayo should always be in a discussion of biggest and best legs!

A "intangible" "illusion" "associated with leanness".

So, BS.

Fortress: ah, no he didn't. He said it himself. (Tom Platz ) he weighed in the 210 pound area. Much like Shawn Ray. However your point mute, and mine remains the same regardless. Ronnie Out weighed him still by 100 pounds! Think about the size difference of there legs? I mean it's just common sense. DeMayo too... He was weighing in at contest shape 5'10 260... Once again, this thread is about the biggest! Platz IMO what he had that made a difference, was his huge adductors. That's what gave him that unique look. Go back and look at all his pics. Amazing adductors. Put your finger over that part of his legs and they would not have been so freaky. And I'm a huge Platz fan!

I think I read somewhere Ramy's thighs measured 36."  Below are a couple of photos.  Btw, I saw Tom Platz one time in person.  He was a really short guy.

I guess.

It's not an objective, tangible substance.

Platz was 5'8 not that short for BB standards. Yes Mustafa should be mentioned. Great quad sweep, but no stiations and barely any separation. But then again this thread is supposed to be about size? If not, no ones legs were big and shredded to the bone like Munzers were at one point. It would be nice to see them all in real time standing next to each other. Unfortunately that can never happen. (Ramys legs ) in that pic look crazy. I still think if it came down to the tape measure. Ronnie in that pic with the purple trunks has to be the biggest ever. Just think of his weight and height?, and that was contest condition. Bigger offseason !  :o

So what's Big Hammy's goal?  Biggest quads so he can be another lesser Platz?  Or does he want to win the O?  Because if he wants to win the O he is a fool to be doing anything to his legs except trying to get them super detailed, separated and defined.  More than enough size.
