LAS VEGAS -- Interim UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been pulled from his title unification bout against Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 on Saturday, after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency informed Jones of a potential doping violation on Wednesday.

UFC president Dana White announced the move during an impromptu news conference at MGM Grand Hotel.

Jones tested positive for a banned substance in an out-of-competition sample taken June 16 by USADA, said Jeff Novitzky, UFC's vice president of athlete health and performance. USADA administers the UFC's anti-drug policy.

"It is important to note, that under the UFC anti-doping policy, there's a full, fair legal-review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed," Novitzky said.

Legacy laid waste.

He would probably spend most of his life in prison if it weren't for his fighting career. He got some money and fame out of it. So I guess all in all it was worth it to him.

To me, whenever I hear about a fighter getting done for PEDs, I always think the same thing - unlucky.

Because I never get the feeling that everybody is being tested equally.

He just shit all over his entire career. If it's PED's, it calls into question every fight he ever won. With the new USADA testing, any athlete is taking a big chance in using, especially with the lengthier suspension times. Credit to the UFC for pulling him. In the past, I could see such an announcement coming after the fight took place.

i think minimum he will get a year, possibly two years. it has to be major for the ufc to pull him like that for sure.

also it may be a violation of his parole so he may go to jail as well hopefully he does !
