I think the other poster brings up a good point in that the driver could be brought up on assault even if he "escorted" her out. 

Probably vacating the vehicle and calling 911 is the best option, unfortunately.

Yeah, Id like to know the legal ramifications surrounding this. Technically, wouldn't it be considered trespassing (or something) if he is asking her to leave his car and she refuses? However, even if it is breaking the law, and he escorts her out physically, with today's world, she would probably sue him and win.

Best to call 911 and just wait.
