If your BMR is 3000 cals to maintain and you eat 2000 you will lose weight, no amount of insulin is going to hinder or help that.

It's psychological issue with these people. They want to believe they got fat for every reason other than their  inability to put down the fork.

From what I've read, De Novo Lipogenesis (carbs stored as fat) is a minor pathway. When excess carbs are eaten, the body begins to use carbs for lower intensity activities when it otherwise would be using fat, and the fat that would've been used ends up in the fat cells.

Insulin resistance is only a problem in people who are fat. If you never get to that point, you don't need to worry about this. That is why it's easier to get shredded when you are already decently in shape. People who let themselves go have nothing to blame but themselves. It is simply calories in vs calories out if you aren't a fatass.

I Did Explain It. Quite Concisely Too.

I've Been On Keto For Years. Since I'm Not Fat, I Can Eat Anything I Want, Only Occasionally Though. If I Eat Too Many Carbs, Then I Lose Muscle Definition, Because They Get Covered In Subcutaneous Body Fat If I Eat Too Many Carbs For An Extended Period Of Time, Same As For Anyone Else. Eating Occasional Carbs Is Only A Cheat, When You Are Trying To Lose Body Fat. If You Want To Lose Body Fat, Then You Just Can't Eat Any Carbs. Only Eat High Fat And Protein, Preferably From Animal Sources. It's That Simple.
