Tall enough to not look short, but short enough to pack on dense muscle onto your frame.

The roughly the height of Ronnie & Ruhl

I think so. 5'9-5'10 seems to be the sweet spot.

Liar Priest is only 5'4" ... and he would have won Mr Olympia at some point if he had only managed to avoid destructive relationships.

I don't honestly believe that shitting on Booty's tits cost him any placings.

What year?

What year do you believe Liar Priest could have chili-dogged the rest of the Olympia field?

I don't see it. There have been so many other better short BBers than Liar Priest

I'd go even a bit shorter at say 5' 8". There have been a lot of short Mr. Olympias, they claim to be taller, but I'd bet they squeeze an inch here and there.

Im 5'9" but I think 5'11 to 6'1 is the best height as its tall enough but not too tall, more imposing stature and you can still look thick, where as at 6'3 say you are too tall and cant add much mass. Taller then 6'3 and you have heath problems.

The taller the better ... take 2 equal physiques, put them on stage, and the taller guy always "dwarfs" the little guy.

Someone post the heights of Mr. Olympia by year and you'll probably see taller end of bodybuilders.

Not if they post their real heights.

Taller is always better. Short guys can only look great alone ont the stage.

Put phil Heath next to any professional fotball basketbal hockey player and he will look like the less gentic gifted one! Tall wit broad shoulders and symmetri kills it all! Slim or muscular dosent matter!

6" maybe more...like Arnold Loui

U cant get the flow if your to short...proportions should be right. Same in fasion there is a reason designers choose tall modells....

If their structure is good then taller wins hands down.

Put 2 Arnolds one 6'2" the other 5'9" and who wins?

Hell, give the shorter one an inch on their biceps and it still won't be close.

I prefer the taller look. Longer lines. Ed Nunn comes to mind...the X frame

I don't think there is really such thing as a "perfect height" in BB. However, I'd say that anyone under 5'6ft or anyone over 6'2ft is probably at a disadvantage on a BB stage.

5 ft 2, fewer inches for something to go wrong.
