I vote Texas. I guess things really are bigger there. Maybe one day my BB friends and I will put south Alabama on the map!

the sport of bodybuilding belongs to California. There can be big and bad mother fuckers from any state, and every state has just as many great physiques as the next, but as far as the overall popularity and acceptance of the bodybuilding culture and lifestyle, Cali is it.

I'm in Dallas, TX and there are a lot of pro's here. Seems like Cali would be best though.....if you could avoid all the distractions.

Florida has so many shows that they have to be classified level 1-5.

I would say either CA or TX. CA for exposure and TX for lack of distractions. NV, especially Vegas has alot of distractions and FL just doesn't bring the image of BB.
I'd say Incestville, Mo

I just thought this list wasn't quite as complete. Just for the record I train at Strong & Shapely in E. Rutherford unlike Tamali who likes to train at the NYSC in Jersey where oodles of preteen boys idolize him.

with out a doubt florida and california are best states for a bodybuilder. the competition is every where...you walk on the beach with your dog and you see 4 other bodybuilders doing the same near you all looking at eachother like bunch of homos + tons of jacked up non bodybuilder clients that juice up for the chics.
in florida try south beach...daytona, orlando, tampa all of this lower half is full of bodybuilding,,,then you have california and the mecca...cali and fl deff rule when it comes to bodybuilding while nyc is up there too
