You know what?  I think there's something in what you're saying - coming from the UK, back then in the stone age the first time I'd get to see new American Pro's was in the mags, and I remember a) just how competitive it was each year when Pro cards were hard to come by - people trying year after year to get one, and b) just how sharp the winners were.  And for some you are right, putting on the extra weight didn't necessarily make them look better (Remember how Mike Matarazzo looked when he won, for example).  

On the other hand, I suppose they wouldn't know until they tried it, so... I've just contradicted myself (for a change)

Edit: also, I'm not sure this is true for Kevin either, so wtf am I actually saying here lol

Was just going by what it said in the image caption. When were they from then? He had the bald look and it wasn't from 1997/1998. He was much larger back then in offseason pics. The only other time he's sported that bald look is in recent years.

Despite his evergreenness, by the looks of his face it is well before 2 years ago.  There's no way he would have got to there and not competed, he looks pretty fucking great there.

Levrone said he hasn't been in a gym in 12 years before this comeback. A couple of years ago he got a testosterone implant for hrt... it was on Palumbo's site.
So it's a bunch of BS he hasn't trained at all in all these years, he hasn't even been clean.

I like his rants where he's just freestyling whatever he's thinking and delivering it naturally, but if you listen to his 'Muscle in the Morning' segments, for some reason he reads the autocue like Kasey Kasem!
