The good (il buono) was Clint Eastwood
The ugly (il brutto) was Eli Wallach
The bad (il cattivo) was Lee Van Cliff

The reasoning for this is because brutto ( ugly in Italian ) is almost always used to describe physical apparence, and Eli Wallach was less attractive than Lee Van Cliff. ;)
