Gain Muscle While Losing Fat? Am I Missing Something Here?

We have a fitness guru here that preaches gaining muscle so you can lose fat. Now, I was under the impression that you couldn't gain muscle while in a calorie deficit. He keeps preaching to start with a great breakfast: Eggs, veggies, fruit and cheese sprinkled on top.

Here's my take: People that say they can't get moving without breakfast are crybabies. If you want to lose weight you need to reduce. Of course you're not going to feel good because your body has to move a ton of mass without the fuel it normally gets.

When people ask me how I lose weight and I tell them the first thing out of their mouths is, "Oh thats not healthy" and I ask them why? I usually diet eating about 12 whole eggs a day. I do this at night, spend the entire day without eating. It works for me. I haven't dropped dead yet.

These fatties don't want to feel hungry...thats impossible. I tell these people to drink coffee and diet soda along with plenty of water. They also say drinking soda is bad for you. I return with "being overweight is more unhealthy" then they walk off.  

These people that peddle eating 6-8 meals a day, hogwash. What you end of doing is thinking about food non-stop. Bringing coolers around looking like a douche bag.

Its not hard...if you want to lose weight, get moving and reduce your food intake.

Whats wrong with society?

Actually when you are on low carbs whole eggs and beef are the two most filling protein you can have when I eat fish and chicken breast I dont feel as full.

2. The fitness industry, as a whole, lives and dies by rule #1. Fact of the matter every diet works if you follow it but it's all designed to provide short term results. Before long, you're back on the hamster wheel.
 
3. Making everything too complicated. Fitbit is a fucking scam. Buy a stopwatch and take your pulse. Stop counting fucking calories. Stop counting reps and tempo. Move weight (including your own) that makes your heart pump and don't overeat. Listen to your body. Problem solved.

WTF? I said that is how I diet. Its not complicated. Fills me up. When I want to drop 15 to 20 pounds for summer this is what I do. Jesus Christ, gimmie a break.
Its just easier. You get up in the morning, get moving, exercise, go to work, come home and by the time I park my ass in front of the TV to watch one episode of Magnum PI, I eat and go to bed.

There always needs to be a gimmick. Fitbit, weight watchers, sneakers with NikePlus, clothes, etc. etc. I see these special fucking coolers with special tupperwear to put your food in.

Anything to draw attention to themselves...look at me, I train, I'm working out, I have this fitbit and cooler which means I invest into myself. For Fucks Sake.
You'll never ever see these assholes bringing a couple of cans of tuna and a fork in a brown bag for lunch. They're hauling this big YETI thing around from job site to job site.

Its like the guys that write all there lifts down. Guy at the gym's pen ran outta ink. He was walking up to everyone asking for a pen. When the front desk wouldn't give him one, he left. Better to leave and go home then to forget all his GAINZ!
