Donald Trump's campaign has decided to close up shop in the key battleground state of Virginia, in a bid to concentrate its resources in more competitive state contests, two campaign senior sources told ABC News.

The move effectively concedes the state and its 13 electoral votes to the Democratic presidential ticket of Hillary Clinton and former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, who’s now the state’s junior U.S. senator.

Polling conducted this month by Roanoke College gave Clinton a 9-point edge among likely voters in the state, leading with 45 percent to Trump's 36 percent.

The Trump campaign Monday fired its chairman in Virginia, Corey Stewart, for organizing a demonstration outside the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., after numerous Republicans abandoned their support of the GOP candidate amid revelations of lewd 2005 comments he made about women.

Stewart protested the move in a post on Facebook, saying his home state is "winnable," and calling the pullout a "betrayal."

The real nail comes Friday at 4:59 PM.  Friday news dump for Sept fundraising numbers.   Clinton had what, 150 million?  More?

Paul Ryan talking all loud about how broke trump's campaign in, and said the RNC will give him ZERO DOLLARS, even after trump raised $ for them. 

If Trump limps in with 62 million earned in Sept, or some other low number, it's over.

You have a lot of DC government workers and retirees who moved to VA. Going forward, it's gonna be hard for small government candidate to win there.
