Used to see Billy in Bowlers dance nights at Trafford Park, he used to have short cut off jeans and no top covered in glow paint, really used to enjoy his dance nights

I think he got into the Nubain with a lot of others at the time.

Yes I heard the drugs thing as well - Great waste of potential.

Grant wouldn't train unless he had full stack of gear in him, was pretty much broke financially- poor placings didn't help.

Never really figured the Nubain in thing - why so many took it.
Probably weren't aware of what it was or how addictive it is.

i had a lot of people i knew drop in the gutter with it, nasty stuff, injecting it directly into the vein some of them...

Yep it sure was. Paul Boresseon was addicted Big time.

His falling out a window & Subsequent broken back were
In part due to this.

Any of you remember Sulby Prince? He was a good junior and did top 6 heavys in the early 90s. Went to LA, got hooked on nubain, came home and switched to heroin. A few years later he was dead.

Yes - Sulby was a big lump - remember he wouldn't stand next / close to Brian Buchanan at one show.

Went to L.A & lost his mind.
He used to phone up James Whale's Radio show on Talk Radio.

he was in the heavyweights when Dorian turned pro in 88
I remember he did an interview about the show, he was first backstage and he said every time the door opened he dropped a place...
