When you're big and juiced up your neck gets thicker and tense, your heart is working harder and your blood is probably a lot more viscous. When you start juicing harder and getting bigger the problem becomes exacerbated, especially if the growth is quick and the cycle is heavy hitting.
To combat this I really had to slim down. Call me a twink or whatever, but being an inflated balloon with high blood pressure and puffy, disproportioned body parts is not only ugly but it's unhealthy. It stopped being appealing to me when I decided to look better year-round and try doing as safely as I can without getting lazy and cutting corners. When I get bigger after a more deliberate health initiative, I found that I'm able to tolerate it a lot more. But when I start blowing up too quickly or run too much gear the snoring comes back.
I'm lucky to not have sleep apnea, but it was really a wake up call when a few people called me out on falling asleep constantly and snoring like a chainsaw. Sometimes it's benign and you can just sleep with a mouth guard, but it's an indication to start an inquiry and see which opportunities there are towards better health.
