I'm assuming. This is like their regular price. They've actually lowered the price since they opened in my area. It used to be .89

I can't eat eggs, they give me an upset stomach and make me have terrible diarrhea/gas.

wtf are you going to do with 20 dozen eggs, they go off after around 2 weeks.

"How long do eggs last in the fridge? Fresh eggs will last for at least 66 days from the date they are placed into a carton, this is 3-4 weeks beyond the stamped “best by” date on the carton."

I know a chef who never uses eggs past a use by date, the risk of giving someone food poisoning is too great, food poisoning through eggs is a serious condition for an elderly person.
I had food poisoning with eggs this year, was ill for almost 2 weeks.
Lesson learned, I throw mine away now on the use by date.

Fuck the experts...

Eating just two dozen a day, 20 dozen will only last 10 days. Eggs are the perfect food, especially for building muscle tissue naturally.

I like how you casually toss in the word "just" like it's no big deal, lol.

No big deal for me! It's great they got the flocks back up to size, after having to cull them last year because of the Avian Flu. Eggs were damn expensive for awhile there.

I'm always afraid that I'll crack one open and there will be a baby chicken inside, but not wholly formed.  One wing, lopsided talons, bald as Kojack's anogenital region and just as wrinkly.  It'll let out a pathetic half squawk and then die right there on the kitchen counter.  I just stand there and weep.

Then it's leg twitches and it turns out it was just adjusting to oxygen.  So I reach down to help it and it bites a chunk out of my finger.  It's pissed.  I scream and slip on the purple placenta that had run onto the floor and everything goes black.

When I come to I can't move.  The creature is perched on my head with it's bloody beak over my right eye.  "Rawwwk!  Good meat.  Let's eat."  The pecking begins.  With each mouthful it glances at my left eye and smiles a happy chicken smile.  "Enjoying the show?"

I can't watch anymore but I can't close my remaining eye either since it consumed my eyelids while I was out.  This sucks.  All I wanted was some protein.  Now I'm the protein.  I ain't playing this thing's game so I look away, up to the countertop where the abomination obamanationTM came into being.  The carton is overhanging the edge and I notice the writing.  "Evil Farms"  Shit.  It wasn't just an advertising gimmick for Halloween after all.

Aldi is great.  Rarely have I ever been disappointed in any of their products, except wine  :-X More like $2buckchuck.  Although, on occasion they've had some decent Prosecco, usually around the holidays when people are entertaining.

Many of their fresh items are locally/regionally sourced such as eggs and fresh produce. They're usually .49 in my area, up to .99 when there's less supply.  California egg prices are always outrageous it seems.

I use Aldi for general goods but I avoid the eggs.  Other than that, great deals and bargains for stuff

I've been in many Aldis throughout the country and noticed the ones in North and South Carolina are not up to the same quality standard elsewhere.  Same products, same prices basically, but store appearances seem shabby and unkempt and fresh product turnover seems slow.  My local stores get 2-3 trucks in weekly and things are always neatly displayed and fresh.

Harris Teeter "Meal Deals" are great too. $6.99-$8.99 for six items they have on special. Sometimes you will save $20 on a transaction. I have used those for grill outs etc. Usually not good for nutritious food though.

What did they used to be at Aldi? Unless there's another bird flu epidemic around the corner, I don't see the prices going up any time soon. Why would you buy so many eggs just to save like $3 over the next few weeks?

Huh?

Saving any amount of money is a smart idea, plus Aldi's has great items for great prices.

Don't you work at a Wal-Mart yet you are giving someone shit for saving some money or finding good deals?
